Benefits to Volunteers and Executive Volunteers

We do appreciate the time and expertise our volunteers bring to the table pro bono. We will always try to thank you with more than just an email, where possible.

Volunteers are individuals, companies, firms, agencies, etc, working with us to reduce teenage suicide in South Africa. They can be situated anywhere in the world. Volunteers do not communicate directly with sponsors, donors, and other volunteers in the execution of their duties, and report directly to Sonneblom Foundation or one of our executive volunteers.

Executive volunteers are volunteers, but with the authority to manage other volunteers where appropriate, and communicate directly with sponsors, donors, and other volunteers. Executive volunteers do not have the authority to bind Sonneblom Foundation to any contracts or commitments.

Types of Volunteers

Since no remuneration is available to the directors and volunteers of Sonneblom Foundation, we aim to provide you with as many non-financial benefits as possible. If you, your company, or anybody you know could contribute to this, please get in touch with our Human Capital Manager at hc@sonneblomfoundation.org

  2. Angie Diedericks Suicide Prevention Program (ADSP):
    1. ADSP Executive Counsellors.
    2. ADSP Volunteer Counsellors under the human capital management of SF, but under the supervision of ADSP.
    3. SF Executive Volunteers under the human capital management of SF, but under the supervision of ADSP.
    4. SF Permanent volunteers under the human capital management of SF, but under the supervision of ADSP.
    5. SF Ad Hoc Volunteers under the human capital management of SF, but under the supervision of ADSP.
  3. United for Change (UFC):
    1. UFC Executive Counsellors.
    2. UFC Volunteer Counsellors under the human capital management of SF, but under the supervision of ADSP.
    3. SF Executive Volunteers under the human capital management of SF, but under the supervision of UFC.
    4. SF Permanent volunteers under the human capital management of SF, but under the supervision of UFC.
    5. SF Ad Hoc Volunteers under the human capital management of SF, but under the supervision of UFC.
  4. SF Ambassadors: Ambassadors are celebrities, public figures, or influencers who have declared themselves willing to market, regularly and as often as possible, the activities and goals of primarily the Sonneblom Foundation, but also our beneficiaries.
  5. SF Collaborators: Collaborators are individuals or businesses who have declared themselves willing to cooperate, regularly and as often as possible, with Sonneblom Foundation in achieving its goals.
  6. SF Regular Donors: Regular donors are individuals or businesses who have declared themselves willing to donate regularly and as often as possible to Sonneblom Foundation in achieving its goals.
  7. SF Regular Sponsors: Regular sponsors are individuals or businesses who have declared themselves willing to donate regularly and as often as possible to Sonneblom Foundation in achieving its goals.
